In 1970, Basil Valdez started his singing career as a folk singer and was later on became part of the Circus Band in 1972. He became popular in singing movie theme songs in the 80's such as "Paano Ba ang Mangarap (How to Dream)" and "Muling Buksan ang Puso (Open your heart once more)". In 1990 he realized his gift as a "healer" which was given guidance by his Jesuit friends.
The lyrics depicts that during your lowest moments, there's a person sent to you to make you feel good and help you pick up the broken pieces of you.
