Day 27 : A meaningful song you heard today

I spent my weekend in Bahrain with a BLAST with my old and newly found trusted friends! We enjoyed each other’s company, had our own bloopers (I guess mostly was mine….hehehehehe), had great laugh, was able to watch the movie (which we don’t have it here in KSA) “Hunger Games”, ate different pork dishes which we all misses! But the most important thing that we did in Bahrain that made us spiritually happy was, we heard mass at Sacred Heart Parish, Bahrain. After so many times that I have been going back and forth to this country, it was only my first time to see the parish and hear mass! Feel so blessed for we have ended our SWEET ESCAPE with the Lord’s holy words.

The Lord is the good shepherd. We as Christians should also be good shepherds to the people we are responsible for. For example parents should lead their children to the right path and teach the Christian values. Giving care to another person is not only with material things, what is important, is that we are able to give unconditional and immeasurable love. 

The song that touched my heart during the mass was ANG PANGINOON ANG AKING PASTOL (The Lord is my Shepherd). 

I am not singing it this time, and found the video in YouTube that was sang by a choir, I miss singing with my former choir DLSU-D Chorale and Ancila Domini.

I am sure that each one of you who is currently reading this has fallen in love or is currently in love. Heart beats fast … I bet, this is what happens every time you see your crush,  you talk to your special someone … your heart beats faster, feeling anxious not to do anything that would make the other person give you a bad intuition.

The song also depicts falling in love with someone you knew for a long time, but does not have the courage to say your real feelings towards the person, afraid that you might be rejected and just opted to hide your feelings. Madonna is my all-time favorite artist, she is not just a great singer, performer but an actress and director as well. I practically grew up with her songs, from Borderline, Lucky Star, Papa Don’t Preach, Like A Virgin, Crazy For You, Justify My Love, Don’t Cry For Me Argentina, Vogue, and her latest Give me All Your Luvin’ and a lot more. I have her previous albums in cassette tapes, compact discs, VCD and now on my IPOD! How cool technology is!

She is very influential in the showbiz industry, she has her unique sense of fashion, her great dance moves, her great voice, her music, her talent in acting, and she almost has it all. Because of her drive to reach the top it was not hard for her to top the charts, be popular and receive a lot of attention but along with that, there were a lot of controversies that was chained to her. 

At 54 years old, she is still into the groove, and with how she looks now, who would have thought that she is that age! Great huh!  She will be in Abu Dhabi on June 2012, and how I wish I could see her live!!!

The song I have chosen DEAR JESSIE may not be familiar to everyone, as it was only released in United Kingdom on December 1989, was written and produced by Madonna and Patrick Leonard, in which the song was for Leonard’s daughter. It is somehow different from the other songs of Madonna as it is more like of a lullaby and captivates a psychedelic imaginary scene, from mermaids, to pink elephants, leprechauns, etc. It’s a cute song and I’ve loved it since it was release.

Day 20 : A thank you song

Today is the day of one of the most important person in my life!

I call her MANANG at times coz she would rather stay home than go out with me at the mall or at a party or simply hang out at a coffee shop. Kahit nung bata pa naman kami she's contented of staying at home and play alone. My brother and i pushes her to go out with friends and have a social life. Well kahit papaano naman eh natuto din naman at mejo nasobrahan lang konti pag nasa party mood na! hehehehe....

She's a pretty morena lady na madaming nagkakagusto sa kanya. Not only that she has this charm that you would not say no for an answer. Though she is a shy type of person she has this TIGER in her when triggered and better be careful kasi minsan lang magalit yan at pag nagalit eh talagang tama sya to the real sense of the word na TAMA! She see to it na before she reacts eh madaming facts muna syang nagather. Clever huh!?!?! (pero tatawag din muna kay ate kung tama! kung minsan ... hehehe) She is a strong person, madami nang pinagdaanan na trials and yet still stands with  her chin up!

When we were younger hindi kami ganun ka close. Maybe because of the age gap. Iba ang trip ko iba din ang trip nya. We always fought for whatever reason it was, well i guess maldita siguro ako and i used my powers over being the eldest and she was the youngest those times. But i will never forget the thing that i did which i really regret doing it and has asked for forgiveness, it was the night when i ruined her project. I couldnt remember why i did that and what was the cause of the quarel, but anyway my Mama got mad at me, never knew that it was the last night of Mama coz the following day she was in a coma. I remember my sister crying so hard at the front door waiting for me coz mama was rushed to the hospital, that was the time i felt of being the Ate and had to take care of her.  Pero mukang baligtad she is more stronger than i am even at a young age. And that's what i admire in her.

We became much closer when we both went abroad to  work. It was only me and her as a family and we had no choice...hehehe. But i know it was the plan of God  for us to get to know each other better. We didnt keep secrets... maybe for some time at nabubuko din. We would still fight and argue but after few minutes or lets say hours we would crack up and laugh at each other! But i really thank God for she has always been beside me through thick and thin (literally speaking din! ahahaha). She really stood beside me during my painful moments and if not for her, i may not be writing this anymore, i might be nonexistence!

Karen, yen, len, karina .... is a one unique person! I thank God that she is my sister!

Thank you for everything and i mean everything... thank you for keeping me alive!

I pray for the best of your health and may you be able to settle down with the one you love!
