Love On March . . . Happy Easter!

March 2013 was a very long month!
5 Fridays
5 Saturdays
5 Sundays
Big Time!

This month is very special to me as it is my Birth Month. In this very long month it has brought me a lot of realizations, and knew the truth behind the questions on my mind. It has made me shed tears and has also brought me back that RADIANT SMILE again.

March 2013 is a special month for us as we commemorate an important event in our Christian Life ... The Holy Week which reminds us how Jesus Christ died for us and saved us from our sins. And as we end the Month of March we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus. Blessed are we to have Him as our Saviour, and let us bring back the Glory to our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us cast away fear, anger, bitterness and lies in our hearts. Let us Live Life in the Likeness of Jesus and embrace His unconditional and undying LOVE.

Happy Easter!
Let this be the start of a new beginning.

birthday surprise 2012

This has been long overdue, but nevertheless I would like to share to all how I celebrated my birthday last March 2012. It was a time where I was dealing with things that have made me wonder what life has in store for me. Difficult time it is, but with the Grace of God I have surpassed another challenging chapter of my life

Patients in Tanzania
Going back to my birthday celebration, one day my friend and colleague Maria shared to me that our friend Pamela will be going to Tanzania, officially the United Republic of Tanzania a country in East Africa. It was not just for pleasure but she has unselfishly volunteered to serve in one of the orphanage where children has AIDS. They have decided to pitch in financially to buy stuffs that would be of benefit to those kids such as medicines, educational materials and toys. From there, I emailed my friends and told them that I was not going to celebrate my birthday but instead I will donate the money that I was supposed to use to treat them in some fancy restaurant.  Of course my friends did not object on that!

It’s always a great feeling to share and help people who are less fortunate especially on my birthday. I usually do it on Christmas time though.

I thought my birthday would be quiet, I was very touched when my friends surprised me in my office, brought me cake, flowers, gifts and food that we happily shared. It’s really great to have friends who take time and effort to remember you on your special day and make you extra special. I like surprising my friends on their birthday but I hate to be surprised, but on this instance, I loved every moment of it! My friends are like my family and I thank God for giving me such great friends!

GREAT FRIENDS! (not complete though ... )
Share with all your heart and according to your will! Sharing is not only on special occasions, it is not only in the form of money or material things, it is also sharing your time, effort and care to others.

Thanks Pamela for the photos! :)

JAZZ ICE CREAM by Fadeco

I therefore conclude that there are other ice creams that is yummier and cheaper than MAGNUM. I do not despise those who are into the MAGNUM CRAZE, it is just ME and hoping that you would not get mad at me as well. I was just expecting too much from what i heard from others especially when it was launched in the Philippines. My colleague also agreed with me and told me that it is also expensive in London and that there was nothing special about it. Well, I guess the advertisers were really good that it attracted most of everyone and made them believe that it is the best ice cream. Although I must say, it is yummy and was able to ease up the heat during this very hot summer.

Here is a locally made ice cream of FADECO base in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia which started on year 1977 and had been known for high quality Food and Dairy products. JAZZ Ice cream is one of their products, a chocolate coated vanilla ice cream sprinkled with biscuit flakes, it is almost the same as MAGNUM, yummy and even cheaper! It only costs SR1.00 or around PHP11.00! With the price of MAGNUM I can have 12 JAZZ ice cream which I can share with my friends. Very affordable huh! Wish my friends back home (Philippines) will be able to taste this too! Oh by the way, thanks to my friend who gave me this ice cream, made me really happy as I was craving for something cold!

MAGNUM from UK

The ice cream that Filipinos go gagah in the Philippines is now in Saudi Arabia but it is imported from United Kingdom! It's SR12.00 equivalent to Php132 and i was able to find it in TAMIMI supermarket, Corniche, expensive huh!?!?!?!?  Well, it is imported and not locally made, that's why!!!! Sorry to say but there is nothing special with the taste or extraordinaire. It is just like the Pinipig Crunch of Magnolia which makes me wonder why they went crazy over this ice cream!

But anyway, it is so refreshing and yummy with the heat of 39 degrees!

Summer Fun in K.S.A!!!
