Serendipity the movie is one of my favorite films; it is a feel good romantic comedy and a perfect date movie. Well, well, well, yes I was on a date when I watched this movie and I fell in love …. with the MOVIE hahaha. Besides that, I love John Cusack!

The
movie is about two strangers who accidentally met while they were doing their
Christmas shopping for their respective partners. From that first meeting, it
was a surprise for both of them on how their attraction grew stronger even though
they were both happily committed to others. Sara believes so much on ‘fate’
while Jonathan is much more of a practical person wherein, in an instant he felt and
wanted to date Sara but is just disturbed by Sara’s belief of just letting
something happen naturally. So what Sara did was she wrote her name and number
in a second hand book and left it with the vendor then Jonathan wrote his name
and number on a $5 bill. They parted ways without holding any of neither the
book nor the bill. 5 years later, both of them were about to be married with
their own partners but, they still think of what could have been, if they
had tried dating the first time they met. Well, because of 'fate' they bumped again to each
other, and from there it has lead to a very happy ending. J
Annie Lennox revived the song WAITING IN VAIN one of the songs in the film which was originally sung by a reggae artist Bob
Marley who happens to be one of my fave too….
