It is a great opportunity to be able to work abroad. It is sad though that we get better pay here abroad than working in our own country and be far away from our family, friends and love ones. We have to be creative on how to cope up with loneliness and boredom especially when you live alone.
I have done a lot of things to kill boredom, read books, watch series, baking, writing, play tennis, net surfing etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. But one thing that has kept me really busy nowadays is my passion in music. I love singing and I guess people I know are aware of that. I am lucky to have known a friend who shares the same passion.
Although we are +++kilometers away from each other we have creatively put together our passion. He plays the guitar so well and not even that, he also plays the beat box. Because we both love music of any genre, it was not hard for us to easily click !
A month ago, he created a facebook page which would allow friends and
other people to freely post or share their love for music. He first recorded
the song "With or without you", then another song followed "till
they take my heart away". It was the third song "need you now"
that I started to sing and record the songs that he played with his guitar, Need You Now was
the first song we uploaded and shared to friends and the public, on 15 March
2012. Since that time we kept on recording songs that we like and as per
request. Every day we aim to improve our craft and has even showed more of our creativeness.
He also created our own website, joined a social networking which caters to
music artists. It surely kept our days and nights busy and had fun of doing it.
Like what he says, DIY or Do It Yourself! We didn't allow distance to hinder us
from sharing our talents and we are thankful with technology. He uploads the
music minus one, I sing and record it, then we share it to everyone through the
available sites such as SOUNDCLOUD, YOUTUBE and REVERBNATION.
Truly music is free… there is freedom in music…
