my treasure

Treasure your friends old and new.
Be humble to reach out to them,
but if they fail you just step back,
pray and patiently wait for them to accept you.
If not, do not regret the humility, kindness and love you have showed them
for you know in your heart that you were a good friend
and only wished for their happiness.

Day 19 : A song that mentions a US State - "California"

CALIFORNIA KING BED by RIHANNA

The song talks about two lovers that are emotionally distant with each other. As the saying goes "you seem so near, yet so far." The lyrics depicts that she is in love with the guy but the guy does not seem to feel the same, that's why all she can do is to "California wishing on these stars for your heart on me." However, it is also confusing for her the way she is treated by the guy. And when she was about to give up, the guy showed his great affection to her. His warmth makes her feel better even though she knows that they cannot be more than friends and it would hurt her. "MARTYR" ;)

Well, when can we girls say that the guy like us? When would we girls know that the actions expressed to us are not more than friendship? Guys are lucky because in our society it is believed that the guys should do the first move and profess their love. Girls just wait. :)

Day 18 : A song by an artist beginning with the letter T

FAST CAR popularized by TRACY CHAPMAN

Fast Car  by Tracy Chapman won the Grammy Award in 1989 for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. The song depicts the battle with poverty, how one wants to have a better life and how it can affect one's life and family. It also shows the great love and devotion of a person, how the person in love tried to make the relationship work despite the hindrances in life, but in the end realizes that the pain caused by the relationship was not worth it.

In every relationship there are always the ups and downs, two individuals have their own personalities and the challenge is how one understand the other and how one accepts the other most especially their flaws.
