This song is not just for someone, this is for all who are in at one time or who is currently feeling insecure of herself or himself. The lyrics does not only describe the physical asset of a person. Let's face it, there comes a time that we feel that we are not worthy to others, maybe because we are in a state that we get disappointed that we don't get what we want, or we are not able to please somebody, although we have done everything. Or maybe sometimes when we know that we unintentionally hurt people specially the ones we love and is a part of our life, and because of that we feel 'ugly' inside. But like what I always say, we can't please everyone no matter how we strive to do it. Anything good that you show to one person maybe interpreted wrongly by another. You may be a 'head turner' for X person but for Y person, you just look 'ordinary'. What would make you beautiful? Learn to appreciate yourself and remember that it was our One Great God who made you and gave you your talents! If you are the kind of person who compares, let it affect your life positively! Feel beautiful, be yourself, live life to the fullest! You may not be able to light up the world of everyone, but you can be the 'biggest star' to one!

What Makes You Beautiful is currently #7 in the Top 10 Billboard Charts, it won the Brit Award for the Best British Single 2012.
